H1 & H7 SuperBulbs Upgrading

Light bulbs upgrading for 308 seems to be the most logical thing to do 'first' than anything else. It is not difficult to replace stock H1 and H7 bulbs with either Osram Night Breaker or Philips xTreme Power if u know the right way to do it rather than 'trial n error' method.I've installed the Osram Night Breakers. Took under 20minutes to replace 2 nos. H1 and 2 nos H7 bulbs. Not easy due to accessibility limitation. Must know how to loosen the pins. The Night Breaker bulbs cost me RM210.00 [for 2nos H1 + 2nos H7].

I felt like wanting more out of stock Head Lamps, but again I do not keen on doing any modifications to the Electricals [thus void warranty], and yet I needed more illumination from same wattage.

Night Breaker was topmost contender.

Initally, when I drove out, the car was in low beam mode in city, and the light was little bit on the yellowish side. But as soon as I reached the highway and switched onto highbeam, it was a carpet of white light ahead of me and range was cool 30~40m. And unlike any other headlight this headlight offered me better road sensing abilities.

Highly recommended and saves the hassles of installing relays to OEM electricals.

yes! yes! totally agree. the highbeam in thru H1 nightbreaker is light super terang!!

however the low beam thru H7 is a bit bonkers, coz it even lights up the trees :P

it took me 3 hours to change H1 and H7.. H1 1/2hours
but the killer was H7!! almost cut my fingers also.. such a tight lock and tight fit for your handss

tomorrow going to KS for 2500km checkup will ask them to help check if fitted the H7 correctly hehehe, hopefully the don't mind.

H7 = RM120 [per pack of 2]
