Peugeot reveals RCZ HYbrid4 ahead of Frankfurt debut. The new RCZ Hybrid4 will not be petrol/electric commuter, instead, it will be coupled with a turbo diesel motor. The system also opens up possibilities of a 4WD solution that uses an electric motor at the rear, without the disadvantages of mechanical connections. The diesel engine and the electric motor can produce a combined maximum output of 200-horsepower - It combines a 163-horsepower 2.0-liter diesel with stop and start that drives the front wheels and an electric motor with 27 HP and temporarily, 37 HP, that powers the rear wheels.
