Peugeot showed the official photo of the new generation of their product, Peugeot 208. The car that inspired from the RC Hybrid concept look like more sporty than other previous product.
The front of the car is wider. The channel to the air engine is wider and combines with the big aft lamp specific design from Peugeot. The change at the backside is appearing from the new design of the stop lamp and bumper that is being design more sporty.
This car reported that adopting the turbocharged engine with the start-stop system. These systems enable the engine to switch off automatically when trapped in traffic jam or stop at traffic light. The usage of this technology has the aim to decreases the fuel consumption and waste gas emission.

the 208 sure is interesting... hv not seen it before. like the 308 sedan, you got it first!! the french here tried to deny it as being authentic but eventually accepted the fact that it is indeed the 308 sedan. as for the 407 2 door hatch, it was actually the concept car before the 407 came out. it was called the elixir.
would have looked better if the 407sw actually took on the concept car's looks.
Current 407SW [avante] and 3-door 'elixir' look proportionally massive.
I prefer 'elixir' with 5-door. Let's wait n see for the re-engineered '408 elixir', if exist.
