How much doe$ it cost to run 308T per month?
If u are taking full loan to purchase the car probably u are spending around RM2000 every month for the installment and fuel expenses. But it wont stop there. During the first two years u will need additional money on average around RM300 to RM600 per month for occasional spending that happen once in a while such as to renew insurance, road tax, tires, brake pads, brake fluid, coolant, etc. in addition to 10,000km routine maintenance.
Based on my own experience and feedback from fellow 308T owners I could summarize the 'high n low' additional budget to maintain the car.
After the third year the maintenance will be higher as more wear and tear components to be replaced, especially when the warranty is over. So to prevent any disappointment it is better to save around RM500 per month for the purpose mentioned.
In total u need around RM2500 per month just to own and maintain the car for the first two years and that does not include additional accessories and upgrading. If u wish to add accessories and upgrading u will need up to or even more than RM3000 per month on average.
update: actual figures about 2 yrs later... tally?
How much doe$ it take to run 308T per km?
The car was driven mostly on long-distance trips [over 300km non-stop] such as from Klang Valley to CH, KB, KT, JB, Penang etc. Had never been driven in congested city like KL.
It takes just 41sen to run per kilometer if the car is driven mainly for long distances trips. This cost does not include other wear & tear and depreciating value. The car depreciates around 60sen/km based on average annual millage. If the car is driven mostly in cities the cost per km will be higher - higher fuel consumption and faster wear and tear rate due to start-stop driving.
Overall it takes around RM1 per km! and is expected to increase up to at least RM1.20/km when major parts need replacement [after 3 yrs]. Not a very high figure though. My other continental car costs me RM1.60/km on average!

I think for city driving, can put roughly 18 - 21 cents a km, depending on how much highway one goes. i'm currently stuck at 21 coz 9km needs 30 minutes every morning.
A heavy footer driving in city burns around 11~13 liter/100km of petrol with his 308T.
308T 'drinks' lots of fuel on start-stop kinda driving but frugal on long distance trip when driven at moderate speeds.
